ABOUT TORI

Hi, I'm Tori. I'm 56, and I know what it feels like to do everything right and still feel like your body is working against you.

I've navigated thyroid issues, perimenopause, menopause, and spinal surgery. I've been in that place where nothing works and nobody has a straight answer — and I've found my way through it.

At 51 I stepped on stage for a figure competition and came home with two medals. I'm proud of what I achieved — but honestly, that's not where I learned the most. What came after taught me far more. I learned that energy balance, hormonal health, and getting your nutrition right aren't separate things — they're the whole picture. That micro and macronutrition matter more than most people realise, and that food is one of the most powerful tools you have as you get older.

That's what I bring to the women I work with. I'm a Personal Trainer and provisional Sports Nutritionist, and I'm genuinely passionate about helping women navigate midlife with confidence. I keep things simple — consistency with the basics beats every trend, every time. I love weight training, I love working one on one, and I believe that feeling strong and energetic in your 50s and beyond is absolutely possible.

I'm not a 25-year-old trainer handing you a plan built for someone half your age. I'm 56. I've been through perimenopause and menopause myself. I've had thyroid issues and spinal surgery. I know what it feels like to do everything right and still feel like your body is working against you. I'm not going to tell you I have it all figured out. I'm 56, I'm still in it, and I learn something new every year. What I can tell you is I know more than most — and I know enough to genuinely change what's possible for you.

I work with one client at a time, one on one. That's the only way I know how to do it well.

A COUPLE OF THINGS PEOPLE ASK

Is this online or in-person?

Both. In-person personal training is available in Sydney CBD at Gathr, 309 George Street. Online nutrition and lifestyle coaching is available Australia-wide through the Recalibrate program. Not sure which is right for you? That's exactly what the Clarity Call is for.

I'm not sure exactly where I am in perimenopause. Does that matter?

Not at all. Most women aren't sure — and that's completely normal. Perimenopause can start years before you expect it, and the symptoms don't always look the way you'd expect. We'll work through where you are together, and build your plan around what's actually happening in your body right now.

How is this different from seeing a dietitian or GP?

A GP or dietitian is working within a clinical framework — they're looking for what's wrong and treating it. What I do is different. I work with where you are right now — your hormones, your lifestyle, your nutrition, your training — and build a plan around all of it together. I also have time that most clinicians don't. We're not working in 15-minute appointments. We're building something over 12 weeks, one on one.

What does a typical week look like as your client?

On the Foundation program, you'll submit a weekly check-in and receive a personal Loom video response from me, plus a 30-minute coaching call every two weeks. On Premium, your calls are weekly and you have WhatsApp access between sessions. Everything is built around your schedule — there's no rigid system to fit yourself into.

How long before I see results?

It depends on what we're working toward — but for body composition and hormonal symptoms, three months is the minimum timeframe to see meaningful change. That's why Recalibrate is a 12-week program. Quick fixes don't work for this stage of life, and I won't pretend they do. What I can tell you is that most women notice shifts in energy, sleep, and how they feel well before the 12 weeks are up.

Do I need to be based in Australia for online coaching?

Online coaching is available to women in Australia and New Zealand. If you're based elsewhere and interested in working together, get in touch — I'm happy to have a conversation about whether it's workable.
